Well this is the forth lynx we have seen this summer and the only pictures we've gotten. None of them are great, only a couple are good, and the rest just crack me up! So, I had to share them with everyone. When we first saw it, it popped out of the woods and walked up the ditch paralleling the road. Then, a car came barreling through and scared it up into the woods. We drove off and within a minute decided to go back and sit and wait on the side of the road. After only a couple of minutes the lynx came out of the woods again, crossed the road, and disappeared into the trees for good. It was dark enough that we couldn't get a fast enough shutter speed. But, what a thrilling experience. They are normally such a rare sight but for whatever reason we have the lynx mojo (I think it's Andrew)!
