It's that time of year in Alaska. Everyone is filling their freezers with berries, salmon and moose. This is the silver salmon from Valdez that we put in the freezer. And, just as the guys were about to start moose hunting, we got a call from a good friend in the bush that said some out-of-state hunters wanted to donate an entire moose to all of us (three couples involved)! So, we spent two full days processing several hundred pounds of moose meat into burger, roasts, and steaks! What a gift!
