The entire float trip except a couple nights was filled with great northern lights. Some nights it wasn't worth photographing because it couldn't compare to the previous night(s). So here are the best of the best...at least I tried to narrow it down.
Andrew standing by the water's edge.
Me by the campfire.
Our yellow boat glowing red from the campfire light.
These were taken during the full moon at Onion Portage.
Taken our last night, just outside of Kiana, at the Kiana Lodge.
Our last night was definitely the most spectacular as far as color. We had never seen pinks and reds like this. And we couldn't turn the shutter speed down fast enough to get pictures. The lights were to bright and moved to fast for us. It turned out to be the shortest show of all as well. What an incredible addition to the trip!
